Instruction and Junior Golf
Whether you are new to the game or looking for ways to improve, Herndon Centennial offers a variety of different lesson programs, as well as private and group lessons. Our PGA professionals are here to provide you with excellent instruction, tailored to meet your specific needs and abilities.
Private Lessons
Lessons will focus on all aspects of the game to suit your individual needs.

Classes will focus on the fundamentals of the full swing, chipping and putting in a fun and relaxing environment.

- Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. on April 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
- Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. on April 3, 10, 17, 25 & May 1
- Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. on April 5, 12, 26, May 3 & 10
- Sundays at 11:00 a.m. on April 6, 13, 27, May 4 & 11
- Classes limited to 6 people
- All beginner and intermediate golfer’s welcome
- 5 hours of instruction over five sessions
- Rental clubs if needed
- 2 free twilight rounds of golf

Women’s Beginner Group Classes
“Fore Fun Fridays” Classes will focus on the fundamentals of the full swing, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette in a fun and relaxing environment. Participants will also receive 10% off drinks at Egg Karne on class days.
$225.00 60 Minute sessions
May/June Dates
- Fridays at 6:00 p.m. on May 2, 9, 16, 30 and June 6
- Classes limited to 6 people
- All female beginner and intermediate golfer’s welcome
- 5 hours of instruction over five sessions
- Rental clubs if needed
- 2 free twilight rounds of golf

Junior Summer Camps
Camps will focus on the fundamentals of the full swing, chipping and putting as well as the rules and etiquette of the game in a fun environment.
$210.00 3 hours each day
Dates: Camp 1: June 24-26 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Camp 2: July 15-17 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Girls Camp: July 8-10 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Introduction to the game of golf
- Open to kids ages 6-16
- 9 hours of instruction over 3 days
